Along with Angie and Chris Long, the Current is co-owned by the expectant mother of two and her NFL husband, Patrick Mahomes. With her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, Brittany Mahomes is enjoying a sporting weekend!
The 29-year-old co-owner of the Kansas City Current displayed sweet pictures of her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, Sterling, 3, and Bronze, who turns 2 in November, at the women’s soccer team’s match against the San Diego Wave on Saturday, October 19. She shares these 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren with her husband, 29-year-old Patrick Mahomes.
The family was pictured representing their local team at CPKC Stadium in Missouri by posing in their box while sporting Current T-shirts and other white-and-red merchandise. The Wave lost 4-1 to the Current.

Mahomes, who is having her third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 with her quarterback husband from the Kansas City Chiefs, is accustomed to sharing some of the cutest moments she has with her two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.
Mahomes posted a cute picture of her husband and their 22-month-old kid watching a game together in the bleachers at a nearby high school football field on Instagram on Friday, October 18.
She added, “Friday night lights 🤍,” beneath the photo.
A video of a zoo employee nursing a young giraffe was among the several photos on Mahomes’ Instagram Stories that documented the family’s exciting day at the Fort Worth Zoo in Texas the week before.
Along with Angie and Chris Long, Mahomes has also been open about her support for the Current, which she and her husband co-own.
She posted a picture of herself cuddling with Patrick on her Instagram Stories in September while they were at home cheering on the soccer team against the Utah Royals.
The couple was sporting Current merchandise, which included red T-shirts with sponsor information, a hoodie with the team’s name, and matching KC hats in the light blue, red, and white colors of the team. The soon-to-be mother of three commented, “Let’s gooooo!” in the post.
Even The Current posted the picture to their Instagram feed with the caption, “Thanks for the support bosses 🫶.”
Patrick announced his intention to invest in the sports team in January 2023, tweeting, “I am thankful for the chance to join @brittanylynne as part of the @thekccurrent ownership team.”
In 2020, Brittany and the Longs co-founded the team.
When Patrick joined, she wrote in the team statement, “We are so thrilled to make this a family affair and have Patrick join as an owner.” Behind the scenes, he has been a tremendous help. He has an unwavering love for the Current, and I’m happy he’ll be joining us as we pursue our goal of becoming the greatest in the NWSL.”
