Three-time gold medalist and Paris Olympics men’s basketball MVP, Lebron James, decided to continue his support for the U.S. women’s team on Sunday. As they look to build off what the men did on Saturday and win the gold medal against France.
However, James didn’t just show up to support. He showed up rocking his gold medal around his neck as he sat courtside. A little extra motivation for a women’s team who is hoping to cap off an undefeated showing in Paris.
James and Team USA defeated France 98-87 on Saturday evening after a thrilling final minutes led by Stephen Curry. They had one of the greatest teams and showings in United States history. Including exhibition matches, the U.S. went a staggering 11-0. Winning their fifth straight gold medal and their 17th overall.
In Paris, James was the most consistent player on the court through and through. He averaged 12.4 points, 8.5 assists, and 6.8 rebounds while making 35 of his 53 attempted field goals at the Olympics.

Probably the last time we will see the trio of James, Curry, and Kevin Durant, but they couldn’t have gone out any better than what they accomplished in Paris over the last month.
