Lionel Messi has officially become the brand ambassador for Beats by Dre – the world’s leading audio equipment manufacturer. This move not only affirms Messi’s appeal in the football world but also shows his great influence beyond the pitch.
The incident comes just over a year after Messi left Paris Saint-Germain to join Inter Miami, a decision that came as a surprise to football fans around the world.
Shortly after arriving in the United States, Messi made a special mark by gifting each of his teammates a pair of pink and black Beats by Dre headphones, based on the special colors of Inter Miami. This act could not only show team spirit but also be a stepping stone to a deeper relationship between Messi and the Beats by Dre brand.

In his new role as brand ambassador, Messi will appear in future Beats by Dre campaigns, promoting the company’s diverse product lines.
Speaking about the new contract, Messi said: “I am honored to join the Beats family. Music is an important part of my pre-match routine, and Beats has always been at the forefront of combining music with sports.”
Notably, this is the first time Beats has signed an MLS player since publicly announcing its partnership earlier this year. Beats previously signed multi-year deals with MLS clubs, including Messi’s Inter Miami, in February.

Despite being 37 years old and in the twilight of his career, Messi remains one of the most sought-after players on and off the pitch. His appeal extends beyond football to other industries, especially marketing and advertising.
Messi is currently nursing an injury after suffering an ankle problem in Argentina’s Copa America final against Colombia. However, fans and Inter Miami are expecting his return for the upcoming Leagues Cup match on August 3 against Tigres UANL.

Messi joining the Beats by Dre brand ambassador team is not only beneficial for both parties, but also marks an important step in the development of MLS, showing that the league is increasingly attracting the attention of major brands and the world’s top stars.
As the newest Beats by Dre brand ambassador, Messi joins other sports superstars like LeBron James, Erling Haaland and Alessia Russo. The collaboration promises to create impressive advertising campaigns and take the Beats by Dre brand to new heights in the audio and sports industry.
