Messi scored twice in the victory, first in the 11th minute on a tap-in, and in the 81st minute, scoring a penalty to the bottom-right hand corner of the net.

Suarez also got a photo in front of the pink teddy bear with his wife, Sofia Balbi.

Messi also nearly had a hat trick, hitting the left post on a shot in the 14th minute.

Suarez and Messi are club teammates for a second time in Major League Soccer, as internationally, they play for rivals Uruguay and Argentina.

Inter Miami defeated Nashville in the 2023 Leagues Cup final, with Messi winning his first trophy in the United States.

The duo previously shared a locker room during Messi’s legendary stint with Barcelona.
